Have the Faith To believe without borders
In Mark 9:24, immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help my unbelief." His little boy was by a spirit that caused some uncontrollable incidents to happen, including being thrown in to the fire. This Father was at his wits end. He made a decision however to increase his faith and to believe without borders. He arrived to the point of believing in the supernatural power of Jesus; by putting himself and the one he loved in the hands of the "Faith Builder". Jesus responded saying "Everything is possible for him who believes."
I invite you to join me on an exciting journey of faith. As we embark upon the completion of this project, I ask you to believe without borders. God will make everything possible for us as we take a step of faith to support this vision.
Connection has become a fitting buzz word around Crosslink Church. The new foyer space is going to provide multiple opportunities for families, friends, and visitors to share time together. Included will be lounge areas, high top cafe tables, coffee bar, Bookstore, and a Welcome Center. These resources will be available before and after services and scheduled times throughout the week. It will also provide space for meetings, small groups, funeral receptions, weddings. Ministries will have the opportunity to professionally display booths, sign -ups, resources, and connection. The Crosslink Bookstore will feature the latest and greatest resources and featured apparel for purchase. The Welcome Center will be the focal point of information for all attenders. We look forward to building lasting relationships and occupying the space provided for connections.
At KidWay, we are so excited about the future that God has in store for this ministry. The Let the Church Rise Building Expansion will include an up to code, up to date, facility with bathrooms, kitchenette, and will be handicap accessible. This is going to open doors to ministry opportunities to families that are not able to attend in our current location. The larger gathering space will better facilitate high energy worship. With upgraded speakers, screen, projectors and theatrical lighting, KidWay will mirror what the rest of the church will be experiencing in the sanctuary. The indoor and outdoor playground areas will be a great relationship building opportunity and provide a safe environment specifically designed for them to be carefree kids. This expansion will also open up the possibility for being a host site for birthday parties and family get togethers. The new classroom environments will give us room to go deeper in God’s Word using a small group setting that is divided into grade levels. This breakdown of ages will allow kids to meet others that are dealing with the same things at school and learn together how to interpret God’s Word in a relevant way that they can in turn communicate to their family, friends & classmates at school. We believe that God is doing amazing things in the hearts and lives of our children and we can’t wait to see how He uses our facility as a breeding ground for faith growth.
From the early church that met in homes to today’s rented gyms, storefronts and modern auditoriums, the sanctuary is the space the church assembles to proclaim God’s greatness.
The current worship space was completed in 1984. Thirty years ago, family and friends gathered to worship. Because of God’s grace and your faithfulness to share the Good News, we must increase the size of our sanctuary. The expansion will give us a 25% increase in seating. In addition to the expansion, the new sanctuary will undergo an “extreme” makeover. We will have new pews and new carpet. The walls will be painted a new color. The sanctuary will have new lighting as well as additional theatrical lighting for the stage. We will also have new audio, video, and projection upgrades to accommodate the larger sanctuary space. Join with others who have committed to seeing our church body grow and continue a rich tradition of corporate worship!
Education is a lifelong process; we never stop learning! The traditional schooling model of Christian education has given way to a new lifelong process of FAITH FORMATION. We teach and we learn intentionally and unintentionally, and the spaces we allocate to this learning process shows what we believe about Crosslink Church and how we value our people using this space. Our educational classrooms will be fitted for the purpose of faith formation by offering the technology necessary to make use of audio and video lessons that aid in the spiritual growth of our adults. The classrooms and informal educational spaces will also be designed to offer a comfortable learning home, and the classroom space will be able to be transformed into a professional and academic look for more structured learning opportunities as they present themselves. This educational space will affirm our commitment to continual lifelong faith formation and will be an ongoing standard bearer for purposeful and quality Christian education.
It’s a fact of life, our kids grow up! We believe their ministry space should grow with them. Each year we see an increase in the number of students, which has created a need for more space. The renovations will enhance opportunities for our students with hang out and lounge areas, after-school kickback and study space, and a coffee shop feel to allow the social butterflies to catch up. This safe and inviting environment will affect the youth tremendously in regard to their comfortability with coming to church. The gym will provide space for the sports minded, video options are present for our gamers, and the kitchen will provide easy access to help meet all those snack-attacks. Comfortable, casual seating areas will allow the students to talk with one anotherin a laid back environment. The newly renovated classroom area will allow our pastors and teachers to utilize the latest technology to connect our youth to the never changing message of Christ’s Love. These new spaces have something to grab the attention of the vast array of teenage personalities.
Trust Without Borders
“Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver. God has the power to provide you with more than enough of every kind of grace. That way, you will have everything you need always and in everything to provide more than enough for every kind of grace.”
2 Corinthians 9:7-8
